Oo, I bet that was good shit. I actually saw a turn of the century pharmaceutical vendor’s sample case on Antiques Roadshow once which had a bottle for tincture of cannabis.

Said bottle was empty, natch, as was the cocaine one.

The Chinese used marijuana in tincture form. There is a famous story about a healer using a tincture of marijuana to subdue a general so he could fix a wound on the general’s shoulder.

Yeah, I’ll bet they “carefully analyzed” it and subjected it to a “series of tests”…

I like how they tried to cultivate the seeds too.

These scientists probably spent quite a lot of money on this project, considering you could have gotten any pot head to do for free.

“Dude, I want you to smoke this 2,700 year old pot. Tell me, has it got a good buzz or is it a little harsh?”
