Update: Terracotta army conquers Britain

A quick update to this entry from last year. The terracotta army of the first emperor of China is currently on display at the British Museum. Ticket sales are breaking box office records and the reviews are glowing.

  1. I would love to see this exhibit. Hopefully someday it will do a tour of the U.S.

I saw these on the history channel and was totally fascinated. How great would it be to be the one who discovered these tombs? Thanks for the followup, I learned a few more things.

    1. Oh, I’d love to see the army on tour as well. I get the sense that it was a special deal with the British Museum, though, and not likely to hit the road beyond that.

I’ve dreamed of stumbling on a marvelous find once or twice myself. If the amateur grave robbers can do it, why can’t we? :p
