Very interesting article. Makes me wonder what science would think of my abstract, unconscious actions if found down the line in history. I have read many articles of science, and Archeology over the years that make me wonder who was truly the more looney, the object being studied, or the scientific thesis as to what, or why they were doing what they were doing. Either way, I love your articles, and even more, your effort put forth, to keep the culture of study in the art of archeology alive.

Thank you,

-Tom

I'm guessing the lad who did this was either barefoot or took his boot off to do it. Either way, the weather must have been mild.

I wonder if they were en route to England, Ireland, or even Constantinople?

Great to see some more about this site! I had read about the foot outlines but wasn't aware that the site had many, many more finds than the remains of the ship.
